Binance Exchange Removes 30 Trading Pairs from Its Platform

In a short and straightforward post, Binance has just announced that it is delisting 30 trading pairs from its platform. Per its announcement, it seems Binance decided to delist the trading pairs after several projects teams requested for the removal of the trading pairs. Binance delisted the trading pairs at 8:00 AM (UTC) 2019/09/30.

Besides the above, Binance also said;

“In a bid to improve user trading experience and liquidity on our platform, we have decided to delist several trading pairs. The trading pairs will no longer be available at our platform.”

Trading Pairs Delisted

The 30 delisted trading pairs WAVES/PAX, WIN/BTC, TFUEL/USDC, TFUEL/TUSD, NPXS/BTC, ONE/PAX, ANKR/PAX, ANKR/TUSD, ONE/TUSD, PHB/PAX, and PHB/USDC. The list also includes ANKR/USDC, BCPT/PAX, LUN/ETH, NCASH/BNB, BCPT/TUSD, BCPT/USDC, BTT/BTC, DENT/BTC, DOGE/PAX, ERD/USDC, FTM/PAX, FTM/TUSD, FUEL/ETH, GTO/PAX, GTO/TUSD, GTO/USDC, DOGE/USDC, and lastly ERD/PAX.

Although the above lists consist of delisted trading pairs, for some coins, they will no longer be available on Binance exchange. However, on the other hand, some currencies are still pegged to other trading pairs and will be available for trading.

Some of the coins which are on the losing end are TFUEL, PHB, FTM, Doge, Ankr, Harmony and Elrond. For the latter two, the removal of trading pairs ONE/TUSD, ONE/PAX, ERD/USDC, and ERD/PAX has obliterated the presence of the coins on Binance exchange.

On the other hand, though trading pairs associated with WINk and BitTorrent were removed, the two currencies can be traded against their Tron (TRX) trading pair. On the other hand, WAVES, NPXS, NCASH, LUN, GTO, FUEL, DENT, and BCPT will still be available on Binance. They are pegged to Ether (ETH) to create a trading pair.

Although some traders are losing their favorite trading pairs, per Binance notice, the above is all about ensuring traders have a better user experience and improved liquidity. The above is coming after the addition of three new trading pairs five days ago.

The three recently added trading pairs were HC/USDT, RVN/USDT and REN/USDT. Some of the delisted trading pairs are among the list of assets on Binance recently launched IEO platform Binance Launchpad Initial Exchange Offering (IEO).
