Mariana Gospodinova, head of operation for Binance Europe has now become former executive for the exchange as she joins Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com as general manager for Europe.
Crypto.com shared the news in an announcement made on January 9. The exchange said that it has appointed former Binance executive as a general manager to spearhead European expansion.
Mariana Gospodinova joined Binance in August 2018, where she headed the operations in Europe and looked after the successful launch of the crypto to fiat exchange and other local initiatives. Before joining Binance, She also held leadership roles in the payment industry with European companies including Skrill, now Paysafe, and SysPay.
Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com, founded in 2016, seeks to accelerate the transition to cryptocurrency. The exchange claims to have over 1 million users on its platform and provides a powerful alternative to traditional financial services. It also claims to be the first cryptocurrency company in the world to have CCSS Level 3, ISO27001:2013 and PCI:DSS 3.2.1, Level 1 compliance.

Binance has not yet announced the replacement of Mariana Gospodinova.
Crypto.com, as reported by Crypto Economy, launched its cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com Exchange in Beta on November 14. On December 4, Crypto.com opened its exchange public in close beta. The Crypto.com Exchange enables users to trade digital assets on the most liquid and secure platform in the market through its web interface, trading API, and Crypto.com App with low fees for both individual and corporate customers.
