Blockchain traceability provides transparency to supply chain transaction data, and edits to the data. In supply chains, traceability is crucial - product information from the origin to the consumer can be easily manipulated, intentionally or erroneously, often resulting in delays and additional cost due to third-party participation.
EMURGO has recently released a traceability solution for supply chains - a transparent blockchain-based solution that tracks products from their origin to the consumer. EMURGO has partnered with Blue Korintji, an Indonesian coffee brand, and implemented EMURGO Traceability Solution to track the product from farm to cup, allowing coffee farmers to track their product through the supply chain.
